What is your role at Spacia Group, how long have you been with the company, and what is your favorite part about what you do?
I have been a Client Account Manager at Spacia for 2 ½ years. What I love most about my job is serving others and connecting with people. It’s all about relationships!
What experience have you had prior to your current role that most influences your work at Spacia Group?
While most of my customer service experience came prior to graduating college, my 25 years of experience as a high school English teacher afforded me many opportunities to serve not only my students, but the school community as well. A passion to connect with others and serve in that role paved the way for my current position at Spacia. I seek to understand the needs of clients and communicate with them in a way that provides strong, long-lasting relationships.
If you could pick a new skill in an instant, what would it be, and why?
If I could choose a new skill in an instant, it would be the gift of a singing voice and/or playing a musical instrument. Very similar to the expression of visual art, music is a universal language and evokes a personal response, transcending what can rarely be communicated in words.
Do you collect anything? If so, what, and why did you start collecting it?
I collect unique jewelry as a result of my mother’s influence and love for precious stones and unique pieces. Her collection of jewelry from around the world is beautiful, and it also provides interesting conversation.
What do you consider your greatest achievement and why?
My greatest achievement to date would be the role of “Mom” to three wonderful, independent young men. Motherhood is a privilege and a job that requires sacrifice, patience, and perseverance. While the expectations that come with motherhood seem challenging at times, the rewards are well worth it!
